about

a poem by Ulfie Zisserson, (in which the stanzas inspire the songs created)

no specific distance, between;

a giant chasm of fountaining light,
spent without a sound,
on the ground all glitterbugs chime,
all together and in flight.

and oceans have forests,
as the sky has a sea,
sandy shores of fluffy clouds,
living with colour graciously.

salt flats echo the snowcapped tinkerer,
the landscape of the imagination,
leave little room for arguments.

and villages on lakes of the sun,
you better run,
you better run,
villages on lakes of the sun.

the sounds of birds on a summer mornings,
i heard them in the orchestra hall,
chirping strings and calling breezes,
echoes through the awnings,

and a one-hundred year old workshop,
in the middle of a village,
closed since 43',
how lucky I found myself,
to smell the dust surrounding me.

playgrounds in the blood,
from weeks ago,
we swung on the slippery slides,
and slid with the tempo.

the Gainsbourg effect showed itself on Picasso avenue,
but it only could be felt,
through synapse clicks and furrowed brows,
illumination forked out revenue,
criticism was the word.

moon tears are rain on a good day,
they say they only fall on candy floss,
but it is not a loss,
as the atmosphere records
all of our secret chores,
even those of systems of soul,
of hungry mobs,
of barking dogs,
of running kids and selfish seeds,
falling on dull ears.

and carousels of blooming coral
on a broadway mile,
if you see a crocodile,
don't forget to smile.
