The album is a follow up to 'Nacreous Altocumulus Stratus', Rainbow Macaw's first self-conceived collection of original music. Where 'Nacreous' was inspired by the heavens, 'Lemniscate Phosphene Literati' is a journey within; towards a notion of existence which is constantly resonating inside one's being. The title itself refers to a hypothetical study of a mystical infinite phenomena, taking place in the highest of cognitive tapestries.

The music and concepts which feed the music itself came into being, as an extension from, and inspired by a 3 (or so) hour float in a sensory deprivation tank in a undisclosed sanctuary in Þingvellir, Bláskógabyggð, Iceland.
